Wow... what a week!

So, I sit writing this physically exhausted but with a huge smile on my face! What a week it has been! Last weekend was the 3ness Autumn Fitness Weekender at Hinckley, Leicester. What a fantastic weekend! This was the second 3ness event I had attended but my first outing as a presenter! I taught 2 Pole Fitness sessions on the timetable, and they were fantastically received! The ladies laughed, giggled and wiggled their way around the poles, even at 9am on a Sunday morning after a heavy night partying in Comicbook character fancy dress costumes!!! They cheered and clapped each other as they spun around and all inhibitions went out the window! If anyone reading this took part and has any video footage or photos please let me know!

I was of course also presenting with the Vibe Cycle Team, and the Vibe Cycle classes were immense! The atmosphere in the cycle room was dark, sweaty and heavy with an electric buzz of energy. The participants were loving every second! Delvin, Bella, Lisa and Myself all taught over the weekend, and we all had a fantastic time. What makes us happy is when we see people walking out of the class with a huge smile and buzzing for more, we owe our pleasure to YOU - the punters!! 3ness has such a special Vibe to it, all of the Presenters are approachable, friendly and welcoming to absolutely everyone, and the people who come are the same. Paul Francis, I salute you in doing such a fabulous job organising such a great event. If you have never experienced a 3ness event.. get yourself booked onto the next one pronto!

So, Monday was straight back to work, and planning for the last 3 days training the Fitness First Staff in the south coast for the new Group Exercise programme about to launch - Get Fit with Mel B. Last week I went to London to do the initial training with the programme choreographer - Rachel Holmes. Rachel has put together an amazing workout! It is a high intensity metabolic interval training session, that is functional - working in 3 planes of movement. There is currently NOTHING that compares to this workout regularly being taught on a group exercise timetable, so I think it really is breaking new ground. This week, I then did the training with the Fitness First Studio Managers, Freelancers, PT's and Fitness Managers from around the South Coast and South East! Basingstoke Wednesday and Romford today. The programme was received with such energy, I just know that the guys will take this back to their clubs and launch it around the country with a real buzz! I cant wait to launch it in my club next month! I have really enjoyed the last 2 days training, it actually came quite naturally and I felt really confident doing it, so hopefully there will be more opportunities doing the same kind of thing in the future!

Anyway, it doesnt stop here.. I have a fully booked diary up until December with my gorgeous hubbies 40th birthday celebrations this weekend, and coming up - a Dance-a-thon for the British Heart Foundation, a Halloween Thriller class, a Feel the Vibe Day (6th November), and FITCAMP (watch out for some VERY exciting news regarding this event from me...!) I just cant wait!

If you are looking to get trained in Vibe Cycle, please check the website for the upcoming dates. www.vibecycle.co.uk or www.bellahiggins.com

Thats all for now! Over and Out!

Ok, where do I start! I'm pretty desperate for my holiday right now, so getting cranky about things, maybe today is not the best day to blog!! I will try not to rant!

Recents news, well we had a Vibe Team Photosoot a couple of weeks back, and it was great fun! Delvin and his thumbs were definately the highlight of the day! Thumbs up to ya D! Mark the photographer was very patient with us larking around for most of the time, and I cant wait to see the finished results! We did the shoot down at Keiser HQ, and used the M3's and the M5's! Lisa and Bella also got some other shots done, hip and thigh and nitro X, I've had a shoot recently with Mark, so didnt really need much else doing! You can see my shots in the gallery. If you want to check out some of his other work take a peek at www.whiteshoresphotography.com As well as doing Fitness and Pole shoots, he also specialises in Intimate photography. So after you have done all my classes and are looking beautiful, go and show off what you have so you have something to look back on in years to come when it starts to head South!!!  Mention my name when you get in touch!

The day after the shoot was POLE UNITY! Oh my goodness, what an emotional day! My girls did a fantastic job performing Thriller, I was immensley proud I cannot tell you! We arrived at the Theatre at 11.00am for the meeting, and then it kicked straight off with the rehearsals. One of the stage poles unfortunately had an X-joint missing, but luckily enough, I had a pole bag in my car with nothing else apart from one X-joint in it! How random! So our first rehearsal time came, and I was shaking with nerves - and I wasnt even performing! My legs went to jelly and I was trembling, but the girls nailed it totally and from that second I knew we had nothing to worry about! We then went and had some lunch - gotta love those waffle chips! before starting to get the girls into costume. I was crouched in the hallway outside the dressing room at one point sewing Jen into her dress! We then had the dress rehearsal before finally adding the finishing touches to make up before the show!  When the girls performed, they put their absolute heart and soul into it, getting totally into Zombie character and dancing their hearts out! Some of the girls were dancing infront of friends and family for the first time, and even performing infront of ANYONE for the first time, and they did a smashing job! They were totally buzzing when they came off stage and wanted to go out there and do it again! I thank them for all their hardwork and dedication in rehearsals over the last few months!

Now its on to the next performances - GUILFEST!

We are performing in the Theatre tent at Guilfest next weekend, and then we will be putting the stages outside the tent to have a little mini-Jam.. so if you are at the festival come down and have a swing on the poles! We may even transport them around the festival to different ares - I fancy the dance tent! See you there!

This weekend finally brings the long awaited Pantera workshop in Godalming. Myself and the girls are very excited at the prospect of 3 hours with one of the best Pole dancers in the WORLD! I personally am looking forward to being taught instead of teaching, I could really do with a buttkicking, and am hoping to gain a lot from it. I'm also looking forward to a big squeeze from Debs 'poleslut' Riley! Bring it on!

Ok, so I have managed not to rant so far, so best to leave it there, and I will blog again after my holiday with my hubby and kids, when i will be nicely rested and relaxed!

So, until next time! Ciao!!

My first Blog!

Hey, Thanks for reading my very first Blog! I'm all new to this Blogging so apologies for any ramblings that may happen!

Today, I had my first Pole Unity Dress rehearsal with my fabulous girls!! They are looking brilliant, and we still have next weekend to run through it again polishing up any last minute things. I cant tell you how proud I am of my girls and the commitment they have given me over the last few months preparing for this! I cant wait to sit in the audience and watch them! Though I think I will find it extremely difficult to stop myself jumping up and shouting instructions! I just know they are going to do me proud, and I also hope that they find the experience enjoyable and dont get too nervous!  Look out for the videos of the event in 2 weeks!

Next weekend is the Feel the Vibe Day in Basingstoke, Fitness First. I cant wait! I am team teaching with Bella for the first time, and I am really looking forward to the prospect. I have some immense tunes to play, and really need to get my Vibe fix! For those of you who have not experienced a Vibe Day, they are totally Euphoric, great music and a party atmosphere. The Vibe crowds are the best, no egos, no pretenses, just a love of the Vibe Philosopy. Vibe cycle gives you the freedom to express yourself through your music, without having to ride to someone elses moves and choregraphy, it gives you a chance to show people who and what you are about, it truely is the BEST in indoor cycling concepts!  Dont just ride.....

Pole Dancing Classes in Godalming and Guildford are still going down a treat, classes are very busy with just a few spaces open. I now have a new instructor working for me - Rachel Meredith - who has trained with me since the beginning! She is a fabulous asset, and a great teacher. Zoe Hudson nee Hopkinson, who has worked helping me out with classes for quite some time now, is taking some time out as she is expecting a little bundle of Joy with her new hubby!! Quick work! I cant thank her enough for all her help, especially with my other website! www.jo-polefitness.co.uk And I look forward to having her back in good time!

After we have got Pole Unity out of the way, I plan to have a massive Pole Jam and get together with some other Pole people and enjoy the passion that we all have... Pole Dancing! Hope to see some of you there!!
